Korkmaz, one of Türkiye’s most trusted and respected brands in its category with its quality, innovative and stylish designs, was founded in 1972 in a 50 m² workshop in Mercan, Istanbul. When it was first established, it started only with the production of stainless steel plates, bowls, and trays.
With its 3 factories in Tuzla, Sarıgazi, and Kandıra, Korkmaz is one of the leading brands in Türkiye in all kitchen categories, from cooking products to small household appliances, from kitchen utensils to tableware, and one of the world’s notable manufacturing powers in this field.
Korkmaz’s brand journey includes the following milestones: it was founded in 1972, and in 1988 it started the production of electrical household appliances. It produced Türkiye’s first stainless steel teapot. With two separate production facilities and one headquarters building, it reached a total indoor area of 75,000 m². It achieved a production capacity of 7,000 pots per day and 150,000 per month. It also started producing 5,000 electrical household appliances per day. By exporting under its own brand to 115 countries, it became the only production facility in our country to use 18/10 Cr-Ni stainless steel raw material and the Thermo-Quick base system, which provides homogeneous heat distribution.

The franchisee should be able to provide guarantees, make the necessary architectural and decoration investment for the store, supply the product range required for the store concept, and pay staff salaries, rent, and all other retail-related expenses regularly and on time.
Right Location:
The population density and the social and economic characteristics of the area should match the brand. The store location should be favorable, the physical structure of the store should meet the specified criteria, and there should be no nearby Korkmaz store or sales point in the same area.
Appropriate Investment Cost:
Store decoration, rental, and personnel expenses should be proportionate to the targeted turnover, and the feasibility study should project a level of profitability that makes the investment viable.
Commitment to Brand Principles and Standards:
The franchisee should comply with the brand’s architectural, visual, and service standards; prioritize customer satisfaction; have the ability to enhance brand awareness and reliability; maintain proper sales and stock management; and be capable of remaining loyal to the franchising agreement.
